Qantas Sale: Discounted Fares on International Routes

Qantas has launched its biggest sale in 12 months, offering 400,000 discounted international seats. Travellers can book until February 10, unless sold out earlier, for travel between February 5, 2025, and January 15, 2026.

The sale includes economy, premium economy, and business class fares across key destinations such as London, New York, Bali, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.

Qantas CEO International Cam Wallace said demand for overseas travel is high. “Almost every destination on our international network is included in the sale, so whether you’re looking for a long weekend getaway to Bali, or a longer break in London or New York, there is something for everyone.”

Qantas Points Can Be Used for Bookings

Frequent flyers can book sale fares through Classic Plus Flight Rewards, using Qantas Points.

Some example Qantas Points fares (plus taxes, fees, and carrier charges):

  • Sydney to London return (Economy) – 99,400 Points
  • Sydney to Bali return (Economy) – 43,100 Points
  • Melbourne to Tokyo return (Economy) – 66,400 Points
  • Sydney to Los Angeles return (Economy) – 80,600 Points

Virgin and Etihad Also Offer Sales

Virgin Australia is running a five-day international sale, with return fares starting from $439 to destinations such as Fiji, Vanuatu, Bali, Samoa, and Queenstown.

Etihad Airways has also launched a sale, offering economy fares from $1,392 for Sydney to Rome and business class fares from $7,578 for Sydney to Zurich.

Sale Ends Soon

Flights at these discounted rates are only available until February 10. With 400,000 fares on sale, now is the best time to book an international getaway.
