Air Canada Announces New Non-Stop Flights for Summer 2025

Air Canada has unveiled an expanded flight schedule for Summer 2025, offering travellers more options across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. This new service includes non-stop flights to popular destinations and additional routes that cater to both leisure and business travellers. The airline will provide over 100,000 weekly seats to 30 destinations across Europe and North Africa at the peak of summer.

New European Destinations from Montreal and Toronto

Air Canada is launching new seasonal routes from Montreal to Naples and Porto. These routes open access to Southern Europe’s scenic regions. The new Montreal-Naples service will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from May 16 to October 11. Similarly, the Montreal-Porto route will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, starting June 4 and running until September 28.

Additionally, Toronto will see new services to Prague, with flights operating on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from June 6 to September 28. The airline is also resuming service to London from Ottawa, marking a significant step in expanding Air Canada’s presence in the Canadian capital. The Ottawa-London route will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays throughout the summer.

Air Canada is also increasing frequencies to other major European cities. Flights to Rome and Athens will offer up to three daily services. Capacity between Toronto and Stockholm will increase to four weekly flights, while Toronto to Madrid will have daily departures. Paris will see a significant boost, with three daily flights between Canada and the French capital.

Transatlantic Connections to North Africa

Air Canada is expanding its North African routes as well. The airline will increase service to Casablanca, with daily flights from Montreal. This represents a 17 per cent increase in capacity over the previous summer. These enhancements will give travellers greater access to North Africa and Mediterranean regions.

Expanding U.S. Transborder Flights

For travellers looking to visit the United States, Air Canada will introduce new transborder services. Vancouver will see non-stop flights to Nashville, while Montreal will offer new routes to Cincinnati. Additionally, Toronto will resume flights to Jacksonville, marking the only non-stop service between Canada and this Florida city.

Air Canada will also increase frequencies to key U.S. cities. Toronto will see more daily flights to Indianapolis, Boston, Tampa, and Dallas-Fort Worth. Montreal will offer extra flights to Denver, Nashville, and Raleigh-Durham, with increased service to Tampa. The airline will provide 160,000 weekly seats to the U.S. during the peak of Summer 2025.

Asia Routes Bolstered for Summer 2025

Air Canada is also expanding its reach to Asia. The airline will resume its summer seasonal service to Seoul from Montreal and Osaka from Toronto. These routes, launched in Summer 2024, continue to provide non-stop options for customers travelling between North America and Asia. The addition of these routes strengthens Air Canada’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

Improved Connectivity Across the Globe

Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s Executive Vice President of Revenue and Network Planning, highlighted the importance of these new routes. “By leveraging our hubs in Toronto and Montreal, we are able to offer over 100,000 weekly seats to destinations across Europe and North Africa during the peak of next summer,” he said. The airline’s expansion of transborder flights to the U.S. will also add 160,000 weekly seats, further cementing Air Canada’s position as a leader in transborder service.

Air Canada’s global network spans over 145 destinations across six continents. With its enhanced Summer 2025 schedule, the airline will connect passengers to destinations from Vancouver to Stockholm, Halifax to Athens, and more.

Year-Round Service to Popular Destinations

In addition to its seasonal routes, Air Canada is offering year-round service to Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Flights from Toronto to Port of Spain will operate four times a week, starting May 1, 2025. This new service complements Air Canada’s broad network across the Americas.

The airline’s commitment to serving travellers with convenience and connectivity is evident in its robust flight schedule. Whether you’re looking to travel to Europe, North America, or Asia, Air Canada has options to suit your needs.

Sustainability and Future Goals

Air Canada continues to work towards its goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. As part of its climate strategy, the airline has implemented a series of measures to reduce its carbon footprint. Air Canada is also actively improving its fleet and operations to ensure a sustainable future for air travel.
