Qantas has announced a massive 72-hour sale, offering discounted airfares across its domestic network. The sale includes over one million seats across 60 destinations in Australia.
Huge Discounts on Domestic Flights
Qantas is providing savings of up to 30% on economy fares. The sale covers flights for selected travel periods in 2025, including April, May, and June. The sale ends at 11:59 PM (AEDT) on 27 March 2025, unless tickets sell out earlier.
One-way fares start at $99 on select routes. Adelaide to Kangaroo Island, Brisbane to Whitsunday Coast, Ballina to Sydney, and Launceston to Melbourne are among the cheapest options.

More Than 30 Routes Under $149
Travellers can choose from over 30 routes priced below $149. Qantas is also offering over 20 routes for those planning trips during the Easter and ANZAC long weekends. Popular routes include Brisbane to Port Macquarie, Ayers Rock (Uluru) to Sydney, and Canberra to Melbourne.

Qantas Domestic CEO Markus Svensson said the sale provides a great opportunity for last-minute travellers.

“With the Easter holiday break fast approaching, we’re giving customers the opportunity to plan a last-minute weekend getaway or an extended interstate trip to some of the most popular destinations on our domestic network,” Svensson said.
“It’s also great news for our frequent flyers, with reward seats starting from just 4,400 points. These are some of the lowest Classic Plus reward seats we’ve ever seen, making it even easier for members to put their points towards a well-deserved holiday.”

The sale includes a variety of one-way economy fares at reduced prices. Some of the lowest fares include:

Frequent Flyers Can Use Points for Discounted Travel
Qantas is offering Classic Plus reward seats at significantly reduced points requirements. Frequent flyers can book flights using as few as 4,400 points plus taxes and fees. The Ballina to Sydney route, for example, is available for 5,400 points plus $45.
International Deals Also Available
Qantas has extended its discounts to select international destinations. Flights to Hawaii start at $999, while fares to Los Angeles are available from $1,149. Travellers heading to Canada can book flights to Vancouver from $1,399.

Upcoming Click Frenzy Travel Sale
The Qantas sale aligns with the upcoming Click Frenzy Travel sale, which begins on 26 March at 7:00 PM (AEDT). This bi-annual event will feature exclusive discounts on flights, accommodation, tours, and experiences.
Money expert Joel Gibson noted the timing of these sales is ideal for holiday bookings.
“At this time of year, it’s a peak travel booking period, and there are quite a few travel sales landing. Tomorrow night is a great time for those thinking about booking a holiday,” Gibson said.
