Season Three Premieres Globally on Netflix

Netflix has released the highly anticipated third season of its hit drama Ginny & Georgia. The new season premiered globally on Thursday, 5 June 2025, at 3am ET. Viewers in Australia can now stream all ten episodes on Netflix.

Drama Escalates After Georgia’s Arrest

The season picks up after Georgia’s shocking arrest for murder during her wedding. This arrest not only shattered her fairy tale ending but also brought intense scrutiny to the Miller family. Netflix described Season Three as “the most ambitious and explosive season yet.”

Emotional Storylines Drive Season Three

Executive producer and series creator Sarah Lampert explained the season’s emotional depth. “Going into it, we knew our core driving force isn’t the plot twists and turns, but the emotional truth of these two women,” Lampert told Netflix’s Tudum. She added, “We care about these characters, they are messy and complicated and real, and that’s why we’re invested in the wild season they’re about to go through.”

Ginny Faces Big Decisions

Ginny’s loyalty is tested like never before. “Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove,” said Netflix in a statement. “Is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?”

Antonia Gentry, who plays Ginny, revealed more character growth this season. “You see a new side of Ginny where she’s really coming into her own,” Gentry told Tudum. She added that Ginny is “accepting her decisions and standing by them” and making difficult choices “without being riddled with guilt or shame.”

The cast also includes Sara Waisglass as Maxine, Felix Mallard as Marcus Baker, Raymond Ablack as Joe, Jennifer Robertson as Ellen, Katie Douglas as Abby, Chelsea Clark as Norah, Nathan Mitchell as Zion, and Katelyn Wells as Silver.

Season Four Officially in Development

Netflix confirmed the renewal of Ginny & Georgia for a fourth season in May 2023. The streaming platform renewed Seasons Three and Four together. On 24 February 2025, the show’s Instagram account announced that Season Four’s writers’ room had officially opened. “First day of the season 4 writer’s room!!! Based on today alone season 4 is going to be a RIDE,” the post said.

No Release Date Yet for Season Four

Although there is no confirmed release date for Season Four, fans expect a 2027 release. Netflix released Season One in 2021, followed by Season Two in 2023. Season Three dropped on 5 June 2025. The gap between each season has remained consistent, suggesting a similar timeline.

Cast and Crew Return for Next Season

Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry will return for Season Four. Diesel La Torraca, Scott Porter, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Jennifer Robertson, Raymond Ablack, and Nathan Mitchell are expected to join them. Sarah Glinski remains showrunner for both Seasons Three and Four, having taken over from Debra J. Fisher.

Series Aimed for Four Seasons
