Best known for competing in Season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and later appearing on Drag Race All Stars, Caliente — whose real name was Bianca Castro-Arabejo — left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the LGBTQ+ community.
Her family announced that Caliente had undergone a partial leg amputation as a result of the infection.
