The Radeon RX 9070 XT will retail for $599, while the RX 9070 will start at $549. These prices undercut Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti, which launched at $749 but often sells for $850 or more due to stock shortages. Pricing strategy aims to attract gamers frustrated with Nvidia’s inflated costs.

The GPUs first appeared on Micro Center’s website, where the RX 9070 XT was listed at $699 and the RX 9070 at $649. However, AMD later confirmed the official lower prices.
Twitter user @gawroskiT spotted the listings early, revealing aggressive pricing strategy. This move puts pressure on Nvidia, whose high-end GPUs have been criticised for excessive pricing.
RX 9070 XT vs. Nvidia: Performance and Competition
