Return After a Decade Away
The last time AC/DC performed in Australia and New Zealand was during November and December 2015. That tour included 11 shows across both countries. During that run, the band sold more than 520,000 tickets. The 2009 Black Ice tour broke further records with around 750,000 tickets sold, including 650,000 in Australia.

Support Act Confirmed
AC/DC will be joined by Australian rock act Amyl and the Sniffers for all five Australian shows. The support act adds further national appeal to the tour.
Current Line-up for Tour
The touring lineup features Angus Young on lead guitar and Brian Johnson on vocals. Stevie Young plays rhythm guitar, Chris Chaney is on bass, and Matt Laug handles drums.
Recent International Shows
AC/DC completed a 13-date North American tour on 28 May 2025. That run ended with a full-house performance at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field. The band will start a 15-date European stadium tour on 26 June 2025. That leg ends on 21 August in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Upcoming Tour Gaps Suggest More Dates Possible
The current schedule allows for significant breaks between shows, including a nine-day minimum between most performances. A four-day gap appears between the Adelaide and Perth stops. The timeline suggests that AC/DC could add more dates, though none have been confirmed yet.
Homegrown Legacy
AC/DC formed in Sydney in 1973 and played their first gig on New Year’s Eve at Chequers nightclub. That same day, Journey debuted in San Francisco, over 7,000 miles away.
Chart and Industry Recognition
AC/DC’s most recent album, Power Up, released in 2020, topped the ARIA Albums Chart. It also led the Billboard 200 and the Official UK Albums Chart. It marked their sixth No.1 album in Australia.
The band have released 17 studio albums since formation. They were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1988. In 2003, they entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Only the Bee Gees share induction into both halls.
Tour Organised by Long-Time Partner
The tour is produced by TEG Van Egmond, who also managed the Rock or Bust and Black Ice tours. Van Egmond Group was founded by Garry Van Egmond and is now led by his son Christo Van Egmond. The company joined the TEG Group following a 2020 acquisition.
