Supporting New Album ‘Vie’

The Ma Vie World Tour supports Doja Cat’s forthcoming fifth album ‘Vie’, which will be released on Friday, September 26th. The new project heralds Doja’s return to pop, inspired by the ’80s exploring themes related to ‘love, romance and sex’.

Her latest single “Jealous Type” was produced by Jack Antonoff (Taylor Swift, Lorde) and Y2K (Ariana Grande, Tate McRae). Earlier this month, Doja Cat recently previewed her latest single, “Jealous Type” on Instagram with a poster providing a phone number for a Vie hotline, where callers “were greeted by Doja playing the role of romance therapist.”

Chart-Topping Success in Australia

Doja Cat’s hit single “Paint The Town Red” took out the 2023 triple j Hottest 100. She also appeared in the countdown at #49 with “Agora Hills”. Her breakthrough single ‘Say So’ made her Australian chart debut, peaking at number four on the ARIA Singles Chart and achieving eight times Platinum certification.

The artist’s impressive streaming numbers speak to her global appeal – with 36 billion worldwide streams to date, Doja Cat’s creativity and showmanship as a performer have been praised time and time again, delivering show-stopping performances on nearly all the major award show stages and music festivals throughout the world.

First Return Since 2019

Doja Cat’s first – and, to date, only – Australian tour took place in September and October of 2019. She was a part of that year’s Listen Out festivities alongside the likes of Denzel Curry, JPEGMAFIA, Flume, Diplo and Dom Dolla. The upcoming arena tour represents a significant step up from her previous club and festival appearances.

This marks her first return to Australian shores since The Scarlet Tour in 2023, making the announcement particularly exciting for fans who have been eagerly awaiting her comeback.

Global Tour Expansion

Beyond Australia and New Zealand, the Ma Vie World Tour will continue through South East Asia with dates confirmed for Manila, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok and Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, extending through to 21st December 2025.

Fan Excitement Builds

The announcement has generated significant buzz across social media platforms, with fans expressing their excitement about experiencing her elaborate stage productions and hit catalogue live. Given her reputation for delivering visually stunning performances with intricate choreography and costume changes, expectations are running high for what promises to be one of the year’s most spectacular touring productions.

Doja Cat joins a growing list of international superstars choosing Australia for major tour announcements, following recent confirmations from artists like Kendrick Lamar’s Melbourne dates and other major touring acts.
