Camera Capabilities Built for Creativity
The Galaxy S25 Edge’s primary camera is a 200mp wide lens. This lens delivers high-resolution images with improved low-light performance. Nightography captures over 40% brighter images in dim settings. A 12mp ultra-wide sensor with autofocus enables macro photography. A 12mp front-facing camera completes the setup, featuring a wide-angle lens for broader shots.
The device features Samsung’s ProVisual Engine for improved portrait quality and skin tone accuracy. Galaxy AI editing tools, such as Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist, allow for advanced creative editing directly on the device. These features are drawn from the Galaxy S25 and integrated into the Edge variant.

Performance Optimised for AI and Speed
Galaxy S25 Edge runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, which supports AI processing. This chipset provides fast, efficient performance and is suitable for all-day use. A redesigned vapour chamber maintains performance by enabling effective heat dissipation.
The device includes ProScaler image processing, which improves display image scaling by 40%. Samsung’s mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe) supports consistent image rendering across applications. These components work together to maintain stable performance in a slim design.
Integrated Galaxy AI Features Across Apps
Galaxy S25 Edge integrates Galaxy AI across multiple user touchpoints. The device enables context-aware interactions and multimodal communication using on-device AI. Galaxy AI features are included throughout the interface to assist users with real-time tasks.
Now Brief and Now Bar tools integrate apps into daily routines. These tools provide reminders and context during commuting, dining, and other regular activities. Gemini Live integration adds live interaction using screen sharing and camera input, expanding possibilities for AI communication.

Battery Life Balanced Against Form Factor
Galaxy S25 Edge includes a 3,900 mAh battery, offering slightly less capacity than the Galaxy S25. Samsung claims the display’s power efficiency, paired with the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s processing, supports all-day battery life. Tests show the device outlasted the Galaxy S24 but fell short of the S25 in battery benchmarks.
Charging features include up to 55% wired charge in 30 minutes with a 25W charger. Wireless PowerShare allows charging of compatible Galaxy smartphones and wearables. The device supports Qi 2 15W wireless charging.
Updated Hardware Without Bulk
Despite its slim size, Galaxy S25 Edge includes 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Samsung has removed the third and fourth zoom cameras present in other Galaxy flagships. Instead, users receive a dual-camera system with 2x optical-like zoom and AI-enhanced zoom up to 10x.
Video recording capabilities reach 4K at 120 frames per second. Log format recording provides flexibility during post-production editing. These features align with the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s capabilities while remaining within the Edge’s lighter build.
Durability and Connectivity for Everyday Use
The Galaxy S25 Edge is IP68 water—and dust-resistant. It supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. The device runs Android 15 with One UI 7 and offers seven years of software updates.
Colours, Pricing, and Availability
Samsung will release the Galaxy S25 Edge in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icy Blue. Pricing starts at $1,100. The device will be displayed with a new, lighter security bracket in select retail locations. This bracket helps users feel the slim design without obstruction.
Galaxy S25 Edge introduces a new direction for large-screen smartphones, offering flagship performance in a reduced weight and form. As Samsung pushes into slimmer design territory, it sets the stage for competition with upcoming devices like the rumoured 5.5 mm-thick iPhone 17 Air.
