Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX: RML; OTCQB: RLMLF) (“Resolution” or the “Company”) has extended its maiden drilling success at the Horse Heaven Gold-Antimony-Tungsten-Silver Project in Idaho, reporting two additional diamond holes that intersected broad zones of gold mineralisation from surface to end-of-hole.
The latest results from Golden Gate confirm the discovery of what the Company believes is a large-scale, intrusion-related gold system comparable to other major deposits in the district, including Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite Gold Project, located just 16 kilometres away.
Broad, High-Grade Zones Extend Discovery Footprint
Drill hole HH-GG25-003C returned 253.0m @ 1.50 g/t gold from surface to 253.0m (open ended), including:
- 7m at 1.88g/t gold from 71.6m, and
- 9m @ 2.31 g/t gold from 130.5m, including
- 3m @ 3.98 g/t gold from 149.4m
The hole also recorded the highest single assay result to date: 5.91 g/t gold over 1.5m.
Drill hole HH-GG25-002C, drilled as a fan hole from the same platform as the previously reported HH-GG25-001C, intersected 265.2m @ 0.60 g/t gold from surface to 265.2m (open ended), including:
- 9m @ 1.15 g/t gold from 121.9m
Both holes finished in mineralisation, confirming continuity and the open-ended nature of the system.

Confirming an Intrusion-Related Gold System
The consistent gold mineralisation across all three holes, hosted in altered quartz-sericite to silicified monzonite and granodiorite, aligns with the characteristics of Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (IRGS). These systems are known to host large, high-grade deposits globally, including Fort Knox and Donlin Creek in Alaska, and Telfer and The Granites in Australia.

Importantly, the gold mineralisation at Golden Gate shares geological similarities with the Stibnite deposit, including:
- Structural control along northerly fault systems
- Hosting within felsic intrusive rocks of the Idaho Batholith
- Association with fine-grained sulphides, sericite alteration, and biotite replacement
- Quartz-pyrite-arsenopyrite veining

Figure 3: Schematic cross section of HH-GG25-002C showing the local geology
The gold envelope in all three holes traverses a repeating sequence of fault breccias, structurally-bound monzonites, and granodiorites. This open-ended, structurally controlled pattern points to significant potential for both strike and depth extensions.
CEO: “Discovery Status Confirmed”
Craig Lindsay, CEO of U.S. Operations, commented on the breakthrough:
“Following up our first hole with even stronger results from holes 2 and 3 is an exceptional outcome for the Golden Gate prospect. These results confirm that Golden Gate hosts a large, robust gold system with all holes returning broad gold mineralisation from surface and finishing in mineralisation.”
“That level of continuity and consistency is extremely rare this early in a program and highlights the potential scale. We believe Golden Gate has all the hallmarks of a significant intrusive-related gold deposit, comparable to the major systems seen elsewhere in the district, including Perpetua’s Stibnite, which is only 16km away.”
Lead Geologist Austin Zinsser, who has worked in the Perpetua–Horse Heaven region for nearly 20 years, added:
“The results of our very first drill holes at Horse Heaven are excellent. I have worked in the Perpetua–Horse Heaven region for nearly 20 years and the similarities are notable – especially structural controls, mineralisation style, and geochemical profile.”
Immediate Follow-Up and Pending Results
The Company is moving quickly to capitalise on the discovery. A Reverse Circulation (RC) drill rig is being mobilised to Golden Gate immediately to expand the drill footprint within the current permit allowance. The Company is also applying for a larger 50-hole drill permit to systematically test the system’s full extent.
Assay results for seven additional oriented core holes from the Phase 1 programme (HH-GG25-004C to HH-GG25-010C) will be released progressively over the coming months, potentially into December. This includes the bottom portion of HH-GG25-001C, with results imminent.

Strategic Project Location and Infrastructure
The Horse Heaven Project sits in Valley County, Idaho, in an established mining jurisdiction with a long history of critical mineral production. The project supplied antimony and tungsten to the U.S. Government during World Wars I and II and the Korean War.
Key advantages include:
- Year-round access via major U.S. highway (8km)
- Proximity to processing facilities and skilled workforce
- Adjacent to Perpetua’s fully-permitted A$2.8 billion Stibnite Mine development
- Access to renewable power and established transport corridors
- Government backing for fast-tracked permitting
The project comprises 699 U.S. Federal lode mining claims covering 5,644 hectares, with two main target areas: Golden Gate (gold-focused) and Antimony Ridge (antimony-tungsten-focused).
Dual-Track Strategy: Gold and Critical Minerals
While the Golden Gate discovery represents a significant gold opportunity, Resolution continues to advance its antimony and tungsten strategy in parallel. The Company recently acquired a tungsten and antimony processing mill and 25 acres of private land adjoining the project, potentially fast-tracking production of these U.S. critical minerals.
The mill acquisition will position Resolution as one of the few antimony, tungsten, and gold companies in the U.S. with its own processing capability, a strategic advantage given that over 80% of U.S. antimony currently comes from China.
Gold Market Backdrop
The timing of Resolution’s discovery aligns with a strong gold price environment. Gold is currently trading above USD 3,990 per ounce, supported by geopolitical uncertainties, central bank buying, and safe-haven demand. The metal has gained more than 35% over the past year, enhancing the economic appeal of junior gold explorers with high-grade projects in tier-one jurisdictions.
Investor Outlook
As of 3rd November 2025, Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) is trading at $0.102 per share, within a 52-week range of $0.007 to $0.150. The Company’s market capitalisation stands at approximately $179.81 million.

Figure 5: Resolution Minerals Share Performance Chart
The significant year-to-date gain reflects growing investor confidence in the Company’s U.S. critical minerals strategy and the emerging potential at Golden Gate. With multiple catalysts ahead, including assay results from seven additional holes, RC drilling follow-up, and resource expansion drilling RML remains firmly on the radar of investors seeking exposure to U.S.-based gold and critical mineral development.
What’s Next?
The remainder of 2025 will be critical for Resolution as it seeks to define the scale of the Golden Gate discovery. Key upcoming milestones include:
- Imminent: Assay results from bottom of HH-GG25-001C
- November–December: Sequential assay releases from HH-GG25-004C to 010C
- Q4 2025: RC drilling campaign commences at Golden Gate
- Ongoing: Regional exploration across broader Horse Heaven tenure
- 2025–2026: Antimony Ridge drill permitting and programme
Final Word
Resolution Minerals’ maiden drilling campaign at Horse Heaven has delivered a textbook exploration success story: three consecutive holes, all returning broad gold mineralisation from surface, all ending in mineralisation, and all pointing to a large-scale system that remains open in every direction.
With strong geological continuity, high-grade zones at depth, and structural controls analogous to neighbouring world-class deposits, Golden Gate is shaping up as a potentially district-scale gold discovery. The Company’s strategic positioning in Idaho combined with its dual-track approach to gold and critical minerals offers investors a compelling value proposition at a time when U.S. mineral sovereignty has never been more important.
As CEO Craig Lindsay noted, “With multiple targets still to test across the broader Horse Heaven Project, including Antimony Ridge, our confidence continues to grow that we’re on the verge of uncovering a truly district-scale gold system with complementary known tungsten and antimony mineralisation.”
For investors seeking early-stage exposure to a potential major gold discovery in a premier mining jurisdiction, Resolution Minerals deserves close attention as the story continues to unfold.
