Strata Minerals Limited (ASX: SMX): Projects and Assets Portfolio
Zelica Gold Project
Zelica is the Company’s lead asset. It sits between Leonora and Laverton in Western Australia, on granted tenements M39/1101, L39/261 and P39/5833. Access to infrastructure and processing mills in the district is straightforward.
- Near-surface oxide gold along about 1km of strike, open at depth and along strike
- Held on a granted mining licence
- A pre-stripped open pit, roughly 300 metres long and 10 to 25 metres deep, and pre-constructed vat leach ponds are present on site (photographed August 2025)
- No drilling had been undertaken at Zelica in the 10 years before Strata’s programs
Recent drilling. The maiden campaign returned significant gold in 22 of 23 holes. The Phase 2 reverse circulation program drilled 17 holes for 2,209 metres and reported gold in 16 of 17 extensional holes.
Development pathway. The Company signed a binding mining services and profit share agreement with BML Ventures in June 2026 to advance proposed development and mining at Zelica, covering approvals, mining, haulage and toll treatment.
Zelica South
Zelica South comprises tenements E39/2188 and P39/6171, immediately adjoining the Zelica Gold Project. The Company has expanded the broader Zelica Gold Project through the addition of two tenements, E39/2491 and E39/2606, extending the interpreted gold corridor to 9.5km. Exploration is at an early stage, however rock chips and historical drilling indicate that the area is highly prospective.
Penny South Gold Project
Penny South covers licence E57/1045, about 450km northeast of Perth and 100km southwest of Sandstone. The tenement holds four blocks over 9.95 square kilometres in the southern Youanmi Greenstone Belt.
- Located about 550 metres south of Ramelius Resources’ Penny West/North gold mine, one of Australia’s highest grading gold mines
- Captures about 2.5km of the Penny West Shear
- RC and Diamond drilling has been undertaken at Penny South as part of Strata’s exploration programme, highlighting the prospectivity of the Project
The nearby Penny West/North mine is estimated by Ramelius to contain 440,000 tonnes at 22 grams per tonne gold, for about 320,000 ounces. That figure relates to the neighbouring operation, not to Strata’s tenement.
Biranup Project
Biranup is an early-stage, wholly owned gold project in the north-eastern Albany-Fraser belt, about 350km northeast of Kalgoorlie. Six granted exploration licences cover 342 square kilometres.
- Southwestern boundary lies less than 10km from the Tropicana gold mine, a joint venture of AngloGold Ashanti (70%) and Regis Resources (30%)
- An anomalous gold zone of about 10km by 3km has been mapped from historical assays
- Rock chips have returned up to 626 grams per tonne gold

Strata Minerals Limited (ASX: SMX): Industry Position
Strata Minerals operates as a junior gold explorer in Western Australia, one of the world’s major gold jurisdictions. Its projects sit near established mines, which shapes how the market views its ground.
Gold prices have been a defining feature of the current cycle. Gold traded around US$4,343 per ounce on 7 August 2026, according to Trading Economics. Earlier in the year it set an all-time high above US$5,500, reached on 29 January 2026, before easing. The World Gold Council publishes the reference series for spot prices. A higher gold price improves the economics of small, shallow deposits of the kind Strata is testing at Zelica, though the Company has no current JORC 2012 defined resource or reserve at this stage. A historical non-JORC (2004) compliant mineral resource estimate exists at the Zelica.
| Company | Nearby asset | Relevance to Strata Minerals |

| Ramelius Resources (ASX: RMS) | Penny West/North gold mine | Operates the mine about 550m north of Penny South |
| AngloGold Ashanti / Regis Resources (ASX: RRL) | Tropicana gold mine | Operate the mine less than 10km from Biranup |
