Amazon Australia has kicked off its longest Prime Day sale, running from 8 July to 14 July 2025. The event offers exclusive deals to Prime members across hundreds of thousands of products.

Amazon first launched Prime Day on 15 July 2015 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The event began with a 24-hour sale across nine countries. Since then, Prime Day has expanded to over 20 countries, with a second sale event now held annually in October. Amazon strategically places Prime Day in mid-July to stimulate shopping during the retail lull of summer.
