Trisha Paytas’ Baby Name Aquaman Sparks Buzz

Trisha Paytas' Baby Name Aquaman Sparks Buzz (1)

What name did Trisha Paytas give her newborn?

YouTube star Trisha Paytas and Moses Hacmon welcomed their third child on 12 July 2025.

The baby was christened Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon, causing immediate stir across global entertainment platforms.

The couple released the name through a humorous video on social media, displaying colourful animations and underwater imagery.

Joining Aquaman in the list of peculiarly named children, there stands Malibu Barbie, brought forth to life in September 2022.

Their second child, Elvis, arrived in May 2024. With Aquaman, the Paytas-Hacmon family keeps the legacy alive of their daring entertainment-inspired names.

Why was the name Aquaman chosen?

According to Trisha, she and Moses drew inspiration from their mutual adoration of water themes and the superhero genres. “The two of us sat down together and watched the three Aquaman films to confirm our decision,” she further added.

Describing the choice of the name as something that felt “more right” than anything else they’d considered, Trisha joked. Being a visual artist with an obsession for water, Moses completely supported the idea.

According to Trisha, the name reflects her quirky pop culture personality and Moses’s artistic soul. The duo saw Aquaman as a symbol of strength, uniqueness, and a deep family connection to creativity and water.

How was the birth experience?

While most births are joyful, some complications occasionally arise. Trisha stated, “My water broke on 12 July, early, and caught us off guard.”

She had to undergo an emergency caesarean section- she said it was traumatic, but they made it through. In a candid video diary, Trisha said that this pregnancy will be her last.

Afterwards, she had her fallopian tubes removed due to ongoing health concerns. She intended to prioritise her long-term wellbeing so that she could be fully present for her three children.

Aquaman Continues the Family’s Unusual Naming Style

Trisha Paytas thrives on public attention and nontraditional choices. From viral YouTube moments to her infamously crazy wedding and pregnancy, she never failed to make headlines.

The kids’ names went down the same path.  When they dropped the name Malibu Barbie in 2022, it did cause some raised eyebrows.

The name itself was a tribute to Trisha’s love for glamour and was also seen as an ironic jab at pop culture stereotypes. Then came Elvis, named after the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

So, along with Aquaman, Trisha and Moses have created an unconventional naming legacy with huge returns on those who embody them.

The old story: all three names affiliate with the world of entertainment-good movies, great music, and comic book heroes.

Trisha Paytas Stays True to Herself

In a world where celebrity parents choose minimalist or classic names, Trisha is refusing to follow such an outdated trend. Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon is a bit strange, but it fits right in with what Trisha and Moses have built for themselves.

This name is water-themed for more than just fandom reasons. It stands for identity, the art, and the boldness to identify one’s child without apologies.
