A senior figure in one of Australia’s largest private security companies is facing mounting scrutiny after several female employees accused him of harassment, pressure for sexual favours, and workplace intimidation. The claims have prompted internal reviews, legal settlements, and political attention.
Claims of Pressure Directed at a Vulnerable Employee
One of the women, known as Rachael, said the advances began shortly after the end of her relationship with a company manager who had previously faced claims of domestic violence. She stated that the CEO, Micky Ahuja, contacted her repeatedly and urged her to start a sexual relationship with him.

One former worker said she received repeated messages that made her uncomfortable during a difficult period in her life
According to messages she shared, he offered her $1,000 for sexual encounters and told her that he would arrange both transport and a babysitter. Even after she declined, he kept sending messages, including comments such as “You’re being stubborn lol” and reminders that no one should hear about the exchanges. She said the pressure increased during an already stressful period in her personal life.
Additional Complaint Raised by a Former Worker
Another woman, identified as Jennifer, also made a formal complaint about Ahuja. She accused him of harassment and said he tried to intimidate her. People familiar with the matter claimed he asked a former executive with reported ties to the Finks outlaw motorcycle group to circulate rumours about her.

A second woman lodged a formal complaint, which was later settled through internal processes
MA Services confirmed that a complaint was lodged and that a settlement had been reached, though no details were released. Ahuja denied the behaviour described in both sets of allegations.
Growing Concerns About Conduct Inside the Company
MA Services supplies thousands of guards to major retailers, universities, logistics centres, event venues, and sports clubs. Current and former staff said the workplace atmosphere had become tense and unpredictable. Several claimed the CEO often messaged workers outside normal hours and showed sudden shifts in tone during discussions.

Whistleblowers said employees accepted higher-than-average salaries because they felt expected to show strong loyalty in return. Some described an ongoing sense of fear linked to his behaviour and decision-making.
Incident Reported During a Worker’s Stress Leave
A woman named Carly reported a separate incident involving senior staff during her leave period. She said three managers arrived unexpectedly at her home and demanded the return of company items. Her children were present, and she said the visit left her distressed and unsettled.
People close to her claim she remained fearful after the encounter. They said the visit was an example of the pressure placed on workers who were seen as unwilling to follow internal directions.
Wider Investigations Into Company Practices
Beyond the harassment claims, MA Services is also facing questions about several business practices. Authorities are examining whether the firm used subcontracting arrangements to exploit foreign workers or reduce labour costs in ways that may breach tax or industrial rules.
The company has also drawn attention in federal circles. A parliamentary inquiry is reviewing its dealings with the Nauruan government, where the firm was reportedly involved in private security work funded by Australia. Members of the committee have expressed concern about the level of oversight tied to these operations.
Staff Speak About Their Experiences
Several former employees described a culture in which staff often felt obligated to accommodate demands to avoid conflict. They said workers were unsure about the consequences of raising concerns or resisting instructions that felt improper.
One former staff member said they received a steady stream of messages from Ahuja, sometimes outside work hours, which created unease. Another said they believed most employees tried to stay on his good side because they feared sudden shifts in his attitude.

Ongoing Attention From Regulators and Lawmakers
Regulators are continuing reviews into the company’s labour arrangements, while legal representatives for some of the women involved expect further developments. Advocacy groups are urging stronger oversight of the private security sector, citing concerns about power dynamics and the vulnerability of workers dependent on their employers for stable income.
Inquiry members are monitoring the situation as more information surfaces about the workplace environment inside MA Services. The allegations have widened the discussion about behaviour standards among high-ranking leaders and the need for consistent accountability mechanisms in large contracting firms.
