PlayStation 2025 Wrap-Up Goes Live as Sony Shares New Year-End Player Statistics

PlayStation users can now access the 2025 Wrap-Up, a personalised summary of their activity across PS4 and PS5 systems, as Sony releases this year’s gaming recap alongside an exclusive glass-themed avatar reward.

Year-End Feature Now Available to Players

Sony has opened access to the PlayStation 2025 Wrap-Up, allowing account holders to review their yearly gaming activity. The feature provides a detailed summary of games played, trophy progress, preferred genres, and total hours recorded across both consoles. Sony launched the experience on December 9, continuing its annual December release pattern.

Players can now access their PlayStation 2025 Wrap-Up through Sony’s dedicated portal

The Wrap-Up follows the broader trend of year-end digital summaries led by platforms such as Spotify and YouTube. Sony uses the feature to present players with a personalised view of how they spent their time throughout the year. This includes information related to single-player and multiplayer sessions, along with PlayStation Plus usage.

How Users Can Access Their Personal Dashboard

Players can review their 2025 statistics by visiting wrapup.playstation.com. A sign-in using an active PlayStation account is required before viewing the dashboard. Eligible users gain access immediately after login. The page shows game time, achievements, trophy categories, and their most frequently played titles.

This experience is available until January 8, 2026. Sony has confirmed that data will continue updating until the end of the year, giving players a chance to check back for their complete annual summary. Those who finish the Wrap-Up can also redeem a free glass-themed avatar through a voucher on the PlayStation Store.

Eligibility Requirements for Access

The Wrap-Up is available to adult PlayStation account holders who played at least ten hours on a PS4 or PS5 between January 1 and December 31. Users must also allow the collection of relevant data categories under their region’s settings.

Players who did not enable “Full Data” on PS5 will not see their report. Those in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australasia, India, or Russia who did not allow “Additional Data” collection on PS4 are also excluded. Sony has reiterated that these data permissions are necessary for compiling activity summaries.

What the Dashboard Shows for 2025

This year’s Wrap-Up presents a structured set of statistics tailored for each user’s recorded gameplay. It shows the number of games played, the top five titles, total accumulated hours, and the balance between online and offline sessions. The feature also displays how many PlayStation Plus titles were launched during the year.

Players will also see information related to social engagement. These include interactions with friends, hours spent in party chats, and trophy categories earned. The summary card generated at the end can be downloaded and shared.

Titles That Shaped PlayStation’s 2025 Catalogue

Sony referenced several titles that shaped the platform’s activity throughout 2025. These included Ghost of Yōtei, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Blue Prince, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Many users have shared early screenshots of their Wrap-Up cards on social media, showing how these games contributed to high player engagement across the year.

USA Today reported similar patterns, noting that the Wrap-Up provides genre preferences, gaming habits, and DualSense controller usage. These elements show how players interacted with accessories such as PlayStation VR2 and the PlayStation Portal.

Additional Rewards and Player Engagement

Sony’s glass-themed avatar serves as an extra incentive for users to complete the experience. Once redeemed, the avatar is permanently added to the user’s profile. The summary card is another shareable item that encourages community participation.

Players can also revisit the Wrap-Up to monitor updates until early January. Sony encourages users to check again before January 8 to view their final 2025 data. Many online communities have begun comparing their cards, creating discussions around gaming trends from the past year.

A Recap Experience Built Around Player Activity

The year-end report offers a structured overview of how players spent their gaming sessions throughout 2025. By bringing together gameplay hours, genre choices, notable titles, and accessory usage, the Wrap-Up delivers a complete profile for each eligible user.

The feature arrives as part of Sony’s continued focus on community engagement. It gives players an accessible way to review their activity, share their achievements, and revisit the most memorable titles played during the year. The Wrap-Up remains available online for several weeks, giving users time to check their statistics and secure their reward.
