Snack Wrap Returns Permanently to Menus
The long-awaited Snack Wrap is returning to McDonald’s menus permanently on Thursday, 10 July. The fan-favourite snack will be available nationwide in two flavours: spicy and ranch.
The returning Snack Wrap features one McCrispy Strip, introduced in May, along with shredded lettuce and cheese in a flour tortilla. The ranch flavour contains 320 calories. McDonald’s said customers can buy the wrap a la carte or in combo meals.

The wrap will be available from 10:30am until late night at participating locations. The menu item first launched in 2006 and was removed in 2016. McDonald’s said its return follows years of consistent public demand.
“You created a movement,” the company posted on social media in June. “A movement so powerful that you finally won.”
McDonald’s confirmed the Snack Wrap will remain a permanent menu item as long as customers continue to enjoy it. Pricing varies by location but will start at approximately US$3.
Daily Double Joins McValue Meal Later This Month
McDonald’s will also expand its McValue Menu with the Daily Double burger starting Monday, 22 July. The new double-patty burger includes cheese, tomato, shredded lettuce, slivered onions, and mayonnaise. It contains 490 calories.
The burger will join the McValue Meal Deal bundle and be priced between US$6 and US$7, depending on the location. The Daily Double will remain available until the end of 2025.
McDonald’s continues to introduce more premium options within value-focused bundles. The Daily Double joins a growing list of items tailored for budget-conscious customers seeking variety.
Celebrating Legacy While Innovating
The return of the Snack Wrap, the debut of Spicy McMuffins, and the addition of the Daily Double align with McDonald’s broader strategy. The company aims to revitalise its offerings and maintain relevance among loyal customers.
The McMuffin celebrates 50 years of service this year. McDonald’s is highlighting this milestone by adding bold flavour options to the breakfast menu.
Snack Wrap fans have campaigned for its return through social media and drive-thru requests since its discontinuation. McDonald’s acknowledged these demands in its June announcement.
“After years of fans demanding its return, we’re excited to bring back the Snack Wrap as long as you keep enjoying it at McDonald’s,” the chain said.

Menu Expansion Tied to Broader Trends
The new menu changes follow recent launches such as McCrispy Strips and expanded McValue Meal bundles. Mc’s continues to respond to customer feedback while staying competitive in the quick-service industry.
The Snack Wrap’s permanent return, along with new spicy flavours and a double-patty burger, indicates a focus on bold options and customer favourites. These changes show McDonald’s commitment to maintaining menu diversity while celebrating historic milestones.
The Spicy McMuffins and Daily Double represent short-term offerings, while the Snack Wrap now becomes a long-term fixture. With the latest menu additions, Mc’s aims to meet growing demand for customisation, flavour, and affordability.
Customers can find the new items at most McDonald’s restaurants across the US. Availability and pricing may vary depending on location.
