Askari Metals Limited (ASX: AS2) (“Askari” or the “Company”) is accelerating exploration at its Uis Critical Metals Project in Namibia, with multiple exploration programmes progressing simultaneously across the project area.
The Company’s latest update highlights continued progress in soil geochemical sampling, trenching, geological mapping and rock-chip sampling, while planning for reverse circulation (RC) drilling advances across several high-priority targets.
The Uis Project is emerging as a polymetallic pegmatite opportunity offering potential exposure to tin, tantalum, lithium, rubidium and caesium. Askari is using a systematic exploration strategy to expand its pipeline of drill-ready targets and improve its understanding of the broader mineralised system.

Key exploration developments include:
- Soil geochemical sampling at EPL 7626 approaching 75% completion.
- First-phase trenching advancing at the Kestrel Pegmatite Target.
- Detailed geological mapping and rock-chip sampling continuing across EPL 7345 and EPL 8535.
- RC drilling planning underway for the DP, PS, K9 and OP Targets.
- Several large-scale pegmatite targets identified, including K10, GP and Tawny.
Soil Sampling at EPL 7626 Nears Completion
Askari has advanced its soil geochemical survey across EPL 7626, with the programme now approaching 75% completion.
The Company designed the survey to identify and prioritise concealed pegmatite targets within the broader Uis Project area. The results should provide geochemical vectors that help Askari generate new targets and define areas for follow-up mapping, trenching and drilling.
Once fieldwork concludes, the Company will submit the samples for laboratory analysis and integrate the results with geological, geophysical and hyperspectral datasets. This approach should allow Askari to refine existing exploration targets and identify additional priority areas.
The Company’s work at EPL 7626 therefore represents an important component of its broader target-generation strategy.

Kestrel Trenching Advances Towards Drilling
At the Kestrel Pegmatite Target within EPL 8535, Askari has made significant progress towards completing the first phase of trenching.
The programme aims to expose fresh pegmatite material beneath surface cover, improve geological understanding of the mineralised system and generate channel-sampling opportunities to support drill targeting.
Preliminary observations continue to support the prospectivity of Kestrel, with the Company encouraged by the scale and continuity of pegmatite development identified to date.
Askari expects to complete 89 planned trenches covering 7,675 metres of trench lines. The trenching programme will test the continuity of the pegmatite target and provide additional geological information ahead of potential RC drilling.
Kestrel programme objectives:
- Expose fresh pegmatite beneath surface cover.
- Improve understanding of the geological and mineralised system.
- Generate channel-sampling opportunities.
- Strengthen drill targeting and future RC drilling plans.

Mapping and Rock-Chip Sampling Expand the Target Pipeline
Askari’s field teams are also continuing detailed geological mapping and rock-chip sampling across multiple priority targets on EPL 7345 and EPL 8535.
The programmes aim to refine target geometry, assess pegmatite zoning and identify favourable geochemical signatures associated with critical minerals mineralisation. The results will contribute to a growing inventory of targets that Askari can rank and prioritise for future drilling.

RC Drilling Planning Underway at Four Priority Targets
Askari has moved towards the next major stage of exploration, with planning for RC drilling well advanced across several high-priority targets at EPL 7345.
The Company is currently focusing its drilling preparations on:
- DP Target
- PS Target
- K9 Target
- OP Target
These prospects emerged as priority drill candidates following the integration of geological mapping, geochemical sampling and previous exploration datasets.
The planned RC programme should provide the first systematic subsurface assessment of these targets and represents a significant upcoming exploration catalyst for Askari.
Final drill designs and programme scheduling will follow the receipt and interpretation of the remaining exploration data currently being generated across the project.
Gino D’Anna Highlights Growing Exploration Pipeline
Askari Executive Director Gino D’Anna said the Company is building momentum across several exploration fronts at Uis.

Strategic Location Supports Uis Development Potential
Askari’s Uis Project sits within the Cape Cross–Uis Pegmatite Belt in west-central Namibia.
The project comprises EPL 7345, EPL 8535 and EPL 7626, with Askari holding 100% of EPL 7345 and EPL 7626 and an 80% interest in EPL 8535.
The project is located less than 5km from the township of Uis and less than 2.5km from the operating Uis Tin-Tantalum-Lithium Mine operated by Andrada Mining. The broader Uis area contains more than 100 mapped pegmatites, many of which have historically been mined for tin and semi-precious stones.
The geological setting also hosts pegmatites containing minerals including cassiterite, lepidolite, petalite, spodumene, tantalite and columbite, highlighting the region’s polymetallic and critical-minerals potential.
