Housemarque Sets Saros for March 2026 Launch
Saros, the Returnal developer’s next project, received an extended five-minute gameplay demonstration. Housemarque confirmed March 20, 2026, as the PlayStation 5 exclusive release date. The game features Rahul Kohli as protagonist Arjun Devraj on the shape-shifting planet Carcosa.
Key gameplay mechanics include the Soltari Shield system for absorbing enemy projectiles and the Second Chance revival ability. Unlike Returnal’s pure roguelike structure, Saros introduces permanent progression systems allowing players to upgrade equipment between runs. The DualSense controller integration enhances shooting mechanics with adaptive triggers.
Battlefield 6 Campaign Reveal Sets October Launch
Electronic Arts showcased Battlefield 6’s single-player campaign during the State of Play presentation. The campaign follows elite Marine Raiders unit Dagger 13 across three continents battling private military corporation Pax Armata. Players experience tank battles near the Pyramids, Brooklyn street combat, and HALO jump missions.
The campaign features squad-based mechanics allowing players to command team members with unique abilities. Battlefield 6 launches October 10, 2025, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.

Several major titles confirmed February 2026 release dates. Koei Tecmo announced Nioh 3 for February 6, 2026, marking the first simultaneous PlayStation 5 and PC launch for the series.
