Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director of Menu and Brand at McDonald’s Australia, said the company had taken customer feedback seriously.
“Our Aussie fans absolutely obsessed over the sweet and savoury flavours of McGriddles when we trialled it earlier this year,” she said.
“Safe to say, we got the message and gave our iconic breakfast menu a glow up by adding it to the national menu. The McGriddles range joins our other main characters: crispy hash browns, toasted McMuffins, cracked eggs, and the new rich and round McCafé blend which hit restaurants last month.”

Crocs Keychains Add Fun to Happy Meals
In another exciting twist, Macca’s is launching one of the most anticipated Happy Meal toy promotions yet. Starting July 10, Happy Meals will come with adorable mini Crocs keychains, a quirky collaboration that fans have seen in markets like America, Bali, Thailand, New Zealand, and Singapore.
The news first leaked through digital creator and self-declared “professional taste tester” Nectoriouspapi, who spotted a sign in-store.
“Maccas x Crocs Happy Meals. From July 10th. 8 to collect,” he posted, sparking massive interest online.
The keychains come in colours like red, white, yellow, and blue, each decorated with tiny jibbitz and, of course, a signature Macca’s smiley face.
To say fans are excited would be an understatement. Collectors are already planning to visit multiple outlets to grab the full set.
